ive got some lovely slamon for my tea, not much to go with it though!!
no potatoes or no rice, or no salad!!!!:-(
any ideas??

What about poaching it and serving it on a bagel or toast w/ chive cream cheese? Sounds good to me!

Fresh Salmon Marinate it in 1 Cup Mayo or 1 Cup yougart add 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice 2 Tbsp White wine 1 TSP dill weed for 1- 2 hours then pan fry or grill even bake until desired donness.

Smoked Salmon Chop Fine Mix w/ Cream Cheese W/ 3TBSP Whipping Cream add dill and serve on crackers

If you can tell us what you have on hand, we could jump in w more suggestions. Asparagus and couscous come to mind. Another idea is, adding the salmon to a pasta dish with veggies & a white creamy dill sauce or a cold pasta salad.

Easy Salmon Pasta:

30 min 5 min prep
3 servings

2 cups penne pasta
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
1 (7 3/4 ounce) can red salmon, preferably skinless/boneless
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
salt and pepper, to taste

1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package directions -- until al dente; drain well.
2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, bring cream to a boil; boil for 3 minutes or until reduced and slightly thickened.
3. Stir in one can of salmon (red looks best), drained well and bones removed, the cheese and the drained pasta.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and toss lightly.
5. Turn on your hot water tap until water runs hot and warm the bowl you will serve pasta in; pat dry.
6. Place pasta in the serving dish.
7. Sprinkle with chopped green onion and serve with extra parmesan to sprinkle on top.

tried salmon patties? sorta like a little meat loaf throw eggs crackers or dried bread crumbs,and cook with a little vege oil fry them up. anything can go with that.

Actually, my mom cooks grits and mixes the salmon with it, and we have with toast. It may sound gross but it really is delicious
