depends on what condition your hair is in right now! if it feels rubbery and like plastic...just intensely condition it...if it still feels healthy...then apply the color and make sure you do some heavy duty deep conditioning once a week for the next month and once every 2 weeks the month after that!!!

I would really recommend you go to a salon if you can. I do understand that it might be out of your budget. If so... what color did you dye your hair? If you bleached your hair at all I would definitely say don't touch it our go to a salon. I also wouldn't try to strip dark color from your hair. I have had friends who had darkened there hair and then made it darker the next day successfully. If you are trying to do this I think you will be okay, otherwise, be patient. It could be a long time of being patient if you toast your hair and big pieces break off.

It'll be fine. I dont dye my hair but i know girls who dye it and redye it all the time. They make hair color these days so its not so harmful... of course its not GOOD for your hair to dye it 2 days in a row but its not the worst thing ever. Just make sure to really shampoo your hair thouroughly before coloring it again, so any excess of the other color that wasnt completely rinsed can be washed out, and do a conditioning treatment afterwards.

It wud seriously damage ur hair.Usually even if u dun like the color u shud wait a week or so.But if u absolutly need to change the color that bad.Make sure that u moisturize ur hair wid a good product for the next few days.So that the damage isnt that bad.It might cause ur hair to be dry & brittle wid all that chemical. Best u juz leave it instead of colorin it again so soon.Colorin is never good for ur hair.

What color did you dye it...If it was blonde, I would say no b/c it might have bleach and peroxide that really damage hair. But if you dyed it brown or another dark color, it should be fine. Just remember to condition and pamper it after you color it again. If you dyed it blonde, you can get a toner at a beauty supply store and that will settle down the color a bit.

If you really hate the color, you need to go to a salon and pay to have the color stripped out of your hair and then start over. To much store brand hair color, in a short amount of time, will leave your hair very brittle and dry. It's going to take A TON of conditioner to undo the damage. It will also really dry out your scalp.

Also, you should be using conditioner for color treated hair anyway.

In the store they have color reducer and I have used that to remove a dye. I can't remember if you have to wait to redye or not. I guess it depends on the stregth of dye used, if it werre me I would not chance it as I would be afraid of my hair falling out.

I dyed my hair one time and it turned out orange!!! The next day i dyed it DARK brown and it was fine. I'm sure it damages it a little more than if you were to wait atleast a month but my hair didn't fall out or anything :)

first of all, is this color darker or lighter than what you just dyed it?
well, if its lighter, i would wash my hair a trillon times to get the color as light a possible for the lighter color. then do it.

darker? go ahead, but it might be darker than what the bottle says, cause you already got a coat of it on.
