Your question is very odd. What is it we want? Well....let me see, right now I really want an orange popsicle. But, as an atheist, other than that, I really don't want anything, thank you.
There are "so many" atheists, as you put it, because more and more people are waking up and realizing that the notion of a so-called "god" creating everything is ridiculous. That this so-called "god" made the Earth, animals, and Adam and Eve...hmm...I wonder where the dinosaurs were in the bible story? Because, wow, science has PROVEN....I will repeat that, because Christians have a tendency to ignore all rational thought...PROVEN that dinosaurs were here BEFORE us and that the world has been around MUCH longer than the bible states it has. The reason being, I think, is because the money makers that wrote the bible didn't have the brain capacity to think about before they came along. They didn't know there would be men of science who'd come along and disprove everything...but they didn't have to worry about it really, because they'd be long, long, LONG gone before the sh*t could hit the fan, as it were. And it's sort of sad how closed-minded Christians are being about science and ignoring simple facts, claiming we're trying to crush their faith. It's actually childish...I can imagine them all wrinkling their noses at my answer here and plugging their ears when someone tries to make them listen to scientific fact. All they are, are people terrified of facing their own mortality...refusing to admit that once they're dead, they're dead. That's it.

That is a really odd question. It shows you have an isolated mind. This service represents quite a mix of people, in fact I wish I could hear from more people of different beliefs and backgrounds on here!
Are you a Christian? Whatever your beliefs are, you sound like you think you own the place!
Hmmmmm, you aren't a white male Christian with a superiority complex are you? Oooohhhh, a steriotype! Come on! Join the rest of the world in an awsome conversation. It's very cool.
Peace!

We're debunkers of myth, revealers of false superstitions, a light in the darkness of the ignorance that is religion.
We get you to think, to challenge what you've been told is true despite a complete lack of evidence. We assert the rights of all people against the closed-minded hatred of religion that wants to eliminate all who don't believe a certain way.
Much superstitious dogma is so ingrained, through training from birth, that some who hear the truth will never accept it. But we'll keep trying. :)
Peace.

I would think the same reason there are so many other religious people on here. To have a forum where everyone can talk and share their ideas.

I like a good debate! I'm really hoping for a discussion about souls with a liberal christian! I would love something like that instead of those pointless "I didn't come from no monkey" ones.
*Sigh* - I suppose I should initiate it.
