I'm not so sure from studying Scripture that the Rapture will occur BEFORE the Tribulation. The article at the first link below goes through a verse-by-verse summary of what the Word says about the saints being persecuted and THEN the Second Coming of the Lord. I hope it is a blessing to you.

The Rapture will happen in the year 2800 AD
Daniel 8:13 is written 200300 days divided by 360 days = 556 years, 4 months, and 19 days or (April 19, 33 AD)
Daniel 12:11 is written 100290 days divided by 360 days = 278 years, 7 months
Daniel 12:12 is written 1003530 days divided by 360 days = 2787 years, 7 months
Jesus seventy times seven
Seventy = seventy generations 70 x 40 = 2800
Seven = seven other spirits more wicked then you
2800 AD is the Final Judgment and it is Just.
A TIME = 21,6 Billion years
TIMES = 1,960 years (2 each)
A HALF TIME = 980 years
1960 + 980 = 2940, Year of the Blessed 2800 AD
7 Ages, 7 Seasons, 7 Little Seasons
Each have 6 days of labor, 1 day of rest
Life
20, 40, 400, 4,000, 40,000, 400,000, 4,000,000
The Earth and the Universe
40,000,000, 400,000,000
The 10th President of the U.S. shall fall to Gog and Magog

I agree with you. I commend you for seeking it out through the scriptures and not blindly accepting your pastor's teaching. I believe there will be a "rapture" and that it will happen post tribulation because there are many scriptures that point to that like Jesus said at the harvest He will separate the sheep from the goats and he also said in Matt 24 that when the sun grows dark and the moon turns to blood THEN will the Son of Man descend in the clouds and have His angels gather his elect from the 4 corners of the earth. That sounds like the very end of the age to me. Well, thanks for the good fellowship. God bless you!

I'm glad you came to know christ...however,.....
.The 'rapture ' of the Church occurs simultaneously with Christ's second Coming in glory and the resurrection of the dead.............All occur together,(see I Thess. 5:15-17); ..."AFTER the Tribulation of those days"(Matt. 24:29-31)
"...At the LAST trumpet"... I Corin. 15:52
Don't be deceived by the fictional "Left Behind" series....which is based on a common misconception that claims the 'rapture' occurs years before Christ's Return. This is not found in Scripture.

In a million Thess 5:4, it says that that day won't overtake people who belong to the physique of Christ. they're going to understand the date of the rapture or gathering jointly. For you, i will grant the date. The day after it particularly is a renowned date and the main searched date in google. it particularly is going to be the tip of the Mayan Calendar. it particularly is going to be forty 4 days after the re-election of Obama being forty 4 = 11 X 4 the place 11 is confusion and four is the international. the gathering jointly would be on December 20, 2012 and positively adequate, day after today stands out as the 60 X 7 days or 420 days formerly the rapture. tell your acquaintances, love ones and classmates on the subject of the date. people who belong to the physique of Christ would be grateful for it and people who do no longer will in basic terms say it particularly is yet another camping out holiday. See my website for extra records in this significant date. it may be the midpoint or 1260 days after the Pope bless Obama and 1260 days formerly the 2nd coming of Christ Jesus. Glory to Yahweh.

You are entitled to your opinion, but you seem to be glossing over a definitive part of a verse!
We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye,
I suppose that you are saying that "all" is not referring to "all"? What scriptural authority do you have to convince me of this. Granted that those that are not in Christ are not all, the Corinthian letter was not written to nonbelievers. But if Paul wrote that "all" would be changed in a twinkling of an eye, who says that it isn't so? I know what the word is translated from, but it would be more natural to assume that those excluded are those that are not Christian. Why believe that there would be Christians not included-- Where do you get that?

The book of Revelations was written metaphorically so as to get past Roman censorship. It was never intended to be taken literally. The concept that there will be an actual rapture or Armageddon, etc are all constructs added hundreds of years after Christ to justify various, usually horrible, things that the Church was up to.

Yes, it's very clear in the Bible...although, the WORD isn't there...and that's where people get jung up on. Look at the things going on in our world, and it's hard to imagine people not running to Jesus.
