The advances in science (esp. physics) have so far explained the previously unexplained phenomena:
Anthropic principle; Darwin's theory on evolution; DNA science revealed how human body works; Scientific explanation on how Jesus supposedly had walked on water; etc.

Theoretically, Science CAN and WILL one day explain and disprove the existence of what human refer to as God.
What do you think?

PS. For hardcore religious followers, pls provide supporting argument instead of "Believe me, God is real" line.
Thank you. All opinions from believers and non-believers are welcome.

God: an imaginary character, was made up by man to control people. It is a mind control method.

In the height of heaven (Job 22:12), in the third heaven (2 Cor.12:2), God inhabits eternity (Isa.57:15) and dwells in Zion (Joel 3:21, Ps.23:6), the heavenly Jerusalem (Heb.12:22).

God is a spirit - we worship him in spirit and in truth

God is all man - in the flesh through Jesus Christ

God is the almighty everlasting creator of all the seem and the unseen.

God is big enough to hold the universe in the palm of his hand and small enough to live in our heart.

God is real

God is love

God is forgiving

God is merciful

God is the one you will be held accountable too

I think I will give you a break now...God Bless you

You could technically say "metaphysical concept," but He is real. He is a person, a spirit, a Savior. He is in everything and is everywhere. The bible promises we will ALL meet Him someday, but I already have, as have many billions who believe or have believed in Him. I happen to be a Christian, but generally I am a follower of Christ and a bible reader.

Read up on Theology. There's no such thing as a simple definition of God. I suggest an old college Theology textbook for the most objective answer.

In general I view it as a metaphysical concept. It's the images all the religions supply us with that leads one to believe it's an irrational concept... they claim "God" is perfect, yet what they show us is far from it... they contradict their own definitions way too often.

God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God is neither metaphysical or irrational. He is love, grace, mercy................This is difficult to understand because finite minds cannot comprehend the infinite. He created us in order to express His love to us......awesome......<>< <><
