Toasmasters!!!!
Toastmasters is an international organization with speaking clubs all over the world. London will have a ton of clubs in all areas of the city. There is a fee to belong but it's an EXCELLENT way to to started in a very structured and supportive atmosphere.
It really helped me get over my stagefright and gave me a ton of confidence. Go for it.
Just google "Toastmasters, London England"
Unless of course, you're living in London, Ontario, or London someplace else in the world. :) Think globally, google locally.

You could check out the small ads in the back of Private Eye. There are often public speaking courses listed there.
Good Luck

Hi Kenyon
Hard to answer your question without knowing what you needs are - professional, personal, about diction, articulation, projection, self confidence, body language?...
Shooting in the dark I would suggest improvisation as a way to improve your communication and presentation skills while having fun. I've put a link to my own workshop bellow (imprology) and a link to another site listing workshops and events in London (the crunchy frog). I wish you luck in your quest!
