A negligent handler of a police dog allowed the dog to escape. The dog went on to someone else’s farm and menaced this man and his family. Not knowing what kind of dog or from where, this man shoots the dog.
He is now on trial for killing an officer of the law. The dog was given a full police honor burial.
This is true. It happened in Northwest Ohio. Is this Li(e)beral justice? Where a man is demonized for "killing a peace officer" when he shoots a strange dog on his farm?
Is this what the Li(e)berals have in store for the US?

Thats total nonsense. The police were clearly at fault in not keeping control of THEIR animal. The farmer had no way of knowing the animal ATTACKING him and his family was a police dog, and no dog or other animal should be branded a hero. Its a disgrace to real men and women heroes to be brought down to the level of an animal. But the police can never admit they ever made a mistake and were WRONG, They are so full of themselves too. Then they wonder why people don't trust them.... DUH!!

"Menaced this man and his family"...what exactly does that mean? It is the farmer's word against anyone else's, so how do we know that is what really happened? Maybe he shoots starnge animals on his farm regularly. Most police dogs are trained better than the one you mention, and would not leave his commander, nor menace common civilians. Something isn't right with the whole thing.
Killing an animal because it doesn't belong on your land is against the law, no matter the origin of the animal, unless it is hunting season and you carry a license to hunt. Laws for the protection of police animals are there for their protection.
The man isn't being "demonized", he is being held liable for charges that are in black and white. Nothing liberal about that. The law is the law.

While I am an avid animal lover, and respect the work done by police dogs, the case you highlight does not warrant the criminal actions being taken. I suppose you could call me a liberal, with most of my views, but this one seems pretty cut and dried to me. A menacing dog on a property should be treated accordingly.
Its a sad thing, but it shouldn't find the man facing criminal charges...certainly not the severity you cite...

Link to a credible news source please. This stinks of half truths and omitted information.
He absolutely did not have to shoot that dog. He could have one, stayed inside his car and called the police, or, two, stayed in his house where he went to get his shotgun and called the police. This has nothing to do with conservatives, republicans, democrats or liberals. It has to do with a complete retard that overreacted and hopefully will be charged. The fact that you twisted this story around the way you did I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't the guy that shot the dog.
The funny thing is that you are trying to put down the police and their dog when the dog alone has contributed more to society than you ever will. Yes he should be treated as a hero.

You are also not into honesty.
This has nothing to do with Liberal anything.
Why put a political spin on it.
It makes absolutely no sense that you are trying to turn this into some kind of Liberal bashing scenario. Besides that you are not representing the true facts. The man is not on trial for killing an officer of the law. He is on trial for cruelty to animals and assaulting a police dog.
The man did NOT need to shoot that dog.
I'm conservative, not liberal by the way and please do us conservatives a favor, don't try to help our cause. You just set us back some with your not being honest and trying to stir up trouble beween Conservatives and Liberals.
Grow up kid.

How did you possibly tie liberals to this story? Wouldn't this story be in support of gun control? Wouldn't this story be in support of taking away personal responsibility? You seem to provide better evidence against conservative ideas, if anything. But really this is a stupid story that means nothing.
