I've got a mate coming over from america next week, but i'm not sure what to do. He's only coming for the weekend but I don't want to make it boring for him! We could go to London, Birmingham.. it's st Patricks day too.. any suggestions??

it's all there, and it'll be cheap if you stay in St Christophers Inn near London Bridge...

Hi, depends what area you are in, you could take him to all your favourite places then find an Irish pub & join in the celebrations of St Patricks day, just have a good time

Take him to London visit Covent Garden,Camdem Town have a couple of beers and as you say its st patricks day so the atmosphere will be great. its not just for the irish.

London is aways good Buck palace Harrods Soho etc.
History is all ways well received by yanks try a castle!?!!!??
