My boyfriend's birthday is this coming Monday and I wanted to take him out to eat and go to the comedy club but we're both now on a diet and our local comedy club has gone to hell in a hand basket recently. Instead, since he got his very own X-Box 360 last week and is just sooooo excited about it (I can't get his eyes off it!) I was thinking a good gift would be to get him 2 more controllers for it so when Halo 3 comes out later this year he can play it with his buddies (among other multi-player games). I know those controllers are pretty expensive (about $50 a piece I think) which is why I'm only getting 2 and not 3! Besides, he's worth it. I only spent $80 on him for our 1 year anniversary last month after he spent $200 and I still feel quilty about it (even though he said he didn't want me to spend that much on him). Would the two controllers be a good gift?

Yeah. My fiance has an xbox360 and he can't wait. What good is any Halo with one player? I think buying the controllers is an awesome gift. It doesn't always have to be a mushy emotional gift. If it is something that he really wants and is going to need, then where can you go wrong?

That's a great gift idea! My bf has a 360 also, and I don't know the exact price of the controllers but I think they're less than $50.
There's a ton of accessories for the system too, even colored cover plates! Have some fun with it.

Coming from a woman whose man has PlayStation 2, PSP, Game cube and the WII, I would say YES! YES! YES! Believe me. I gave my dude $200 gift card to Best Buy for Christmas and he said that it was the best gift yet because he was able to get games and controllers for his games. I also bought him his WII as an early birthday gift because we have been looking for it since it came out and I happened to find one last week. He is still thanking me(if you know what I mean). If you know that he is really into his X-Box by all means get them I guarantee that he will love it.
