Rub his feet, get him some magazines, bring his favorite soup. Rent some good movies, just spend time with him.

Give him a fun day with only you and him if you eat only eat soft foods the require little or no chewing at all if there is pain in his mouth call his parents immedietly but his mouth should be numb from the anestetic but give him a fun day
