My new puppy eats puppy food and my 10 year old dog eats senior food....but when feeding time comes they won't eat their own food each dog wants the others food! Is it OK to feed them both senior or both puppy food?

Not a good idea, as senior has something in it to make sure that the old guys don't get constipated, your puppy will end up with diarrhea. Also food made for an older dog isn't enough nutrition for a growing puppy. You are better off to separate them while they eat.

No. Both foods have certain nutrients and ingredients that are targeted to the age of the dog. You may have to try separating them to eat. Maybe even put them in different rooms. Good luck!

no it really isn't good to give them the same food until the puppy is older because the two have different needs for their bodies. is there any way to put them in two different rooms for feeding time?

Feed them at different times or in different locations. For instance feed the pup and take the old one outside while it eats, or the otherway around. Or feed one inside and one outside. Just keep them apart

No it is not a good idea to let them switch up on each other's food.

You will have to feed them separately, in different rooms simultaneously, or individually and shut the other one up in another room while the other one is eating.
