i'm cooking chicken wings & the packet is in fahrenfeit & i have a gas cooker which does not have fahrenfeit on it so i need the right cooking temperature from fahrenfeit to the correct gas mark so i can cook the chicken properly

450F = 230C = Gas Mark 9

If you have a Spinal Tap oven then set it to 11. Basically you are talking flat out against the end stop.

230c = 450f this is Gas mark 6, hope this helps
