I burn approximately 4128 calories a day. I consume about 2000. I am happy with the weight I am at but worried that I may be causing damage. Am I sustaining myself? I dont wanna gain 20 lbs again!

You need to stop burning as many calories or consume ore.

Burning more than you consume is ok if the difference is small. If you want to lose 1-2lb a week (which is what is recommended - more that is usually unhealthy unless you are overweight) the difference should be 500-1000 calories.

You are burning 2000 calories more than you are taking in. That is not healthy. Your body needs calories to function. If you want to stay the same weight then you should make sure you are eating almost as much as you are burning. IF you don't you will wear your body out and you will develop severe problems.

If you got the 4128 from basal metabolic computations, they're off. Unless you're a competitive athlete, you're not burning 4100 calories a day.

If you eat less calories than you need, you lose weight. That's what body fat is for -- to make up the difference.

Dont worry about gaining weight. You should worry about developing an eating disorder. I am not sure if burnig more calories than you consume is all that healthy. Just be careful and lay off of the exercise for a little while.

If you Google "calorie calculator" you'll be directed to many Web sites that will help you determine how many calories you need to eat per day to maintain your weight, based on your current height and weight, and your excercise routines.

Also, if you're extremely concerned, your doctor or a certified nutritionist would be able to more accurately assist you.

your burning more calories than the once you consume... and that's not good because your body needs some calories , u might developed a eating disorder later on or your body will not have much energy to fight bacterias or fight any kind of virus.
