Here are some my ideas...
- Barracks Room. It would look like a Navy barracks room. Complete with the cheap furniture.
- The Red Room. Based off the Red Room from Twin Peaks.
- The Nature Room. Forest/Park. Blue skies and clouds. At night, the stars come-out.
What can you recommend?

This is for the a room, which no one will be living in. Only housing a computer.

I like the nature room idea best of the three you've chosen. I've done the stars thing in 6 bedrooms, love it! I've even hung glow in the dark planets too. Sky blue, then clouds, then glow in the dark stars (science stores sell templates in big 8 x 10 foot sheets in accurate constellation patterns) painted with glow paint, then planets hanging in order diagonally across the ceiling.

Have fun with it!

my choice would be the nature room. don't remember the red room from twin peaks, the barracks room does not sound conducive to creativity...
i would add some small white Christmas lights around the edge of the ceiling to add to the star idea..
go ahead, decorate it up..you are worth it....you will see it....
good luck

Either the Barracks Room or the Red Room. Good luck! :)

I personally wouldn't do a theme room unless it's baby/child themed. Otherwise you're going to outgrow it and wind up hating it, and then you're stuck with a lot of furniture you bought that doesn't go with anything else you might want to do down the road. Go with classic, versatile designs that won't date your room.
