I thought cans were better because they have a special air thingy majingy.

The cans have those C02 cartridges now so it's a draw. I still prefer it from the tap, but I buy the bottles mainly because that's what I can find.

Both the cans and the bottles have the widget. The can's widget is designed to release the CO2 when you pour it into a pint glass (which you are supposed to do), and the bottle's widget is designed to release the CO2 while you drink directly fromt he bottle. Persoanlly, I prefer the bottle because I like the taste better. There is just something about beer from a can I don't like. But just so you are aware, they both have the widget. I also believe that the bottles are less expensive, but also hold less beer than the cans. Happy drinking!

I grew up drinking the bottled Guiness stout, which didn't have the co2 cartridge in it. The flavor tends to be stronger and not as airy. The draught cans that have the co2 cartridge have a lighter flavor. Personally, it depends on what you like. I like them both. Whatever you choose, you can't go wrong with Guiness.

Beer out of glass usually tastes best. Bottled Guiness for me.

mm...Guinness is the best beer known to man. Please don't forget that.
That being said, bottle is better for home consumption.
Aluminum cans are made of ... well ... aluminum. Aluminum is linked to Alzheimers (why didn't we know that before? because the current population is living longer and now we have a larger pool of people for research, and we better understand Alzheimer's).
Also - this is off subject and just fyi - the mercury in teeth fillings and vaccinations is linked heavilly to autism. it's scary, but 1 in 150 children born today will have autism. (that's a 0.67% chance of your children being born with autism today...YIKES)
On that thought ... chose wisely - dear friends - what you put into your bodies!
