i let my 2 year old pick any type of lip gloss that she wanted, i think she picked Scooby Doo, and everytime she went potty i let her put some on. i also let her pick out the panties she liked, we went with Barbie, and she got to wear them everyday, first thing in the morning, if she had an accident, i would have her change HERSELF into some of the thick cotton training pants, she called them her ugly panties. it was an incentive for her to stay dry in her Barbie ones. i never used pullups since theyre overpriced diapers. be patient, she'll get there. Kaylyn was accident free in about a week. it also helps if there is a long weekend that you can just devote to the potty. Good Luck, I hope it helps

O.K PLEEEEEEEZ DONT LISTEN TO THE GUY WHO TOLD YOU TO DUCK TAPE YOUR 2 YEAR OLD TO THE SEAT!!!! This is what I tell everyone with that problem and usually works. Buy a bunch of little toys and nik naks like, Whistles, wind up toys, a cool pen, scrunchies, ect. Try too find good sales were you can buy a lot of stuff. Don't think "Oh is she gonna like this?" Of coarse she would like any thing that she can play with! Just buy anything on sale (that is used for recreation) Then buy a little box, also buy decorations for the box such as glitter, paint, felt, sticky letters, googly eyes, ect. and let her decorate the box. Than pick a bathroom that will be HER bathroom. Put the treasure chest in your room or somewere she can't go or reach like in a clloset. And next get a big poster board and Write ( )'s potty chart. Make 10 colomns (sp?) and 10 boxes in each Column. Each time she uses the potty put a smiley face and each time she goes in her diper (not including night time) she gets a sad face. You will notice that at thhe beginning their will be few smiley faces and quite a lot of frowns but as you go you will notice less frowns! Know the mother has to jump in! You (if your the mother) when you think that she is ready and potty trained take that old chart away!If she has any treasure toys left give it to a friend or keep it. Know... Buy a big gift like a doll house or a blow up couch and wrap it up and give it to her for a gift of achievment. Remember she might have those days were she goes in her diper.

This will be a breeze but you HAVE to put in the dedication. If you do it can be almost done in a week. Every 30 minutes from the time she wakes up you take her potty. Even if she doesn't go, she has to sit there for at least 2 mins. And then if she goes, sing and dance and make it a really really big deal. This will make her want to go to see mom or dad acting silly. Then to ger her in the habit of it, take her to the microwave or a timer of some sort and set it for 30 minutes. She'll get to the point where she hears the timer and is ready to go potty. Then her sences will just start to tell her its been 30 minutes. Trust me it works! It took mine a little under a week and a half to get the full hang of it. She woke me up one morning screeming potty!!!! I was shocked. But you HAVE to do it every day!!!! Make sure she goes before bed time before naps and right after lunch and dinner. And when your downtown don't forget! Good luck . . . let me know if you need anything else twpiston@yahoo.com

It may be a little too early for her, some kids need to wait for their own personal reasons.
This is what I did though: let them help pick out a potty seat at the store, and help pick out training pants and undies (undies are better to train with, they feel the messes and understand better). Make sure you have a lot of undies to change and wash. If you have the time, just live in the bathroom with them for days with lots of storybooks, music, and some small toys.

Here's the formula:
2 videos - Potty Power and Elmo's Potty Time
1 Safety First Potty (same one that stars in both videos)
1 book written by Supernanny to teach you how to watch for signs that they're ready, and how to go about doing the deed.
Good luck!

take her ro buy the potty chair and let her pick it out (kids will seat in it if they know they helped pick it out) then show her what the potty is for and let her try wearing her diaper then remove the diaper and see if you have a potty success in 5 mimutes, do not keep a child seating in the potty for more than 5 minutes if she dosent go let her get up and try later for another five minutes, oh yes and be ready to clean up accidents
