I didnt ask for your thoughts on having a dog stroller or buying a dog stroller so for you that think you can be a smart a** I will fix that. It is my animal not your. I hope that the ones that think like that dont have animals because you are not the type that should. I just wanted to know about a cover for it.

I also have a stroller for my dog and it's the best investment I could have made! What I did is I went to Walmart and in their sewing/material department they have the huge rolls of clear plastic that many people use as a protective covering for tables. Well, I bought some and made my own cover. It's not expensive...something like $1.00 or $2.00 a yard. Anyway, I cut it to how I wanted it to fit and I attached it with self adhesive Velcro. If it's going to completely encase the opening BE SURE TO MAKE AIR HOLES! I used a paper punch and put holes where I wanted them.
I got a stroller because one of my dogs will only walk for about a block and then she will intentionally walk in front of me and she will keep doing that until I pick her up and carry her. It gets hard carrying her for a couple miles! (My other one can walk my legs off, so our walks are long) So now, we all start out walking then when the little one has had enough, she gets to go in her stroller and still enjoy being outside!
(Pay no attention to critical people. They just have nothing better to do than criticize)

I would go to a store for babies, which carries strollers and
ask someone there about a plastic cover for it. I am sure
you can make it fit. But remember not to cover it all. The
dogs do have to breath. I wanted to buy a stroller but my
husband said no way. The dogs I have are little and after
a walk they like to be outside, but they want me to carry them.
I think one day I'm going to get a stroller to.

I would try contacting the company that manufactures the stroller, they will likely have a rain cover to fit the model that you purchased.
My Pom would love this, once she decides that she has had enough of this walking business and sits down.
My previous dog was a Lab-Husky cross who could walk for miles, so I have to remember that Poms don't have the mileage endurance of a bigger dog.
Drs. Fosters and Smith (online) also carry many style of pet strollers and covers; so you can try there.
Good luck and happy strolling.

Its starting up to develop into common. Now that there are tones of diverse dogs strollers in puppy shops. human beings flow in and see the little wonderful strollers and flow "how wonderful i'm gonna by technique of that for Fido!" without even questioning if he could particularly like it in a stroller on a walk quite then operating round sniffing each and each of the diverse smells and being a dogs. I particularly have 3 toy breeds and that i could in no way placed them in a stroller. only reason there little doesnt advise they ought to not act like a dogs. My Pom is enthusiastic about strollers. each and anytime my family members comes over and they take there toddler out of its stroller he's in it. They spent the evening one evening and that i could not discover Taz(The Pom) everywhere, he became contained in the stroller the completed evening. Haha even tho my Pom easily loves strollers i does no longer dare be stuck pushing him in a unmarried LOL To Weimaraner mom: those are the precise causes i do not flow to dogs parks anymore. it is going to in no way replace. So my answer is to no longer flow. I carry my dogs to personal interior play dates with knowledgeable human beings.

If you know what brand of stroller you bought, you could check the manufacturer's website.

You don't need a stroller for a dog, all you need is a leash and a collar. Let the dog walk, they need exercise, just as much as humans need the excercise.

Unless your dog is disabled maybe you should actually take your dog for a walk. Dogs need exercise like humans and it will make him live longer. He is probably embarrased to be in a stroller.
