could he be constipated? if so, you could try a suppository That will clear up the gas and help him move his bowels. Its not pleasant to do (for you or him) but it might help.

Good Luck!

You don't need a referral, you need a new pediatrician now. Any doctor that doesn't know to send you to an ENT or other specialist is an idiot. Gas can be treated with Simethicone liquid or chewables, it's over-the-counter so ask your pharmacist to help you find the one that's right for a 2 year old. My youngest is almost 4 and he asks for gas medicine almost every night. I buy the walmart generic infant gas relief drops for him because he doesn't like the minty taste of the chewables.

Call your insurance provider today. In some cases you don't need a primary care physicians referral, you just call and schedule an appointment yourself. Your insurance company can go over your doctors head and authorize you to take him to a specialist, even help get him in sooner that you can in some cases.

Call your health insurance company and get your boy some gas relief drops/chews.

I am sure that you have seen a Dr who has possibly given you or has suggested medication for you for this problem.
My 18mo grandson has this and has since he was born. We couldn't play with him much as an infant as playing with him would surely make him puke all over you.
During this time he was given Zantac which for him didn't seem to work but if they can give it to a baby surely your 2yr can have it. . . check with your Dr.
In the meanwhile,do as they recommend for adults.
Try feeding the child small and frequent meals, avoid meals/liquids 2 hours prior to bedtime and prop the head of his bed on bricks or blocks of wood to elevate the bed approximately 45 degrees (kinda keeps him in a reclining position).
When a person whether they are a child or an grown adult is laying flat, this allows the problems of GERD to erupt quicker as it has a easier path.
Try this and I think you will find some relief.

Maybe as time goes by the child will outgrow some of this as my grandson seems to be having fewer and fewer episodes of this.

Antiacids might work too and they are pretty tasty these days BUT check with your Dr first before giving your 2yr old something that is intended for adults.

Might try Milocen Drops for the gas (works good for under 2) but ask your doctor before giving him anything, he might have something else to try.
Don't give the child soft drinks.
Monitor what you feed him. I have a daughter that is allergic to a few things that we spent a lot of time dealing with before we had an allergy test done. Some of the items did result in cramping and gas (Milk, eggs, corn and a few more).
I'd recommend an allergy test just so you know what he may be allergic to but it is not a pleasent test.It may not reveal anything for him but for my daughter, it has changed the way she feels, and solved her problems that we spent hours at the pediatrician's office trying to pinpoint things.

It really sounds as if your child needs a change of diet. What I used for my sons is 'spirits of peppermint'........and water. The bottle of 'spirits of peppermint' is very cheap, and you can buy it at any drug store. Take a glass of water, tip the peppermint bottle up to your index finger (very clean index finger), the amt that goes onto your index finger is very small and is enough,..............dip your index finger into the water, and you will have enough peppermint in the water to take care of his stomach ache. This works for collic and it works for children with stomach pains, as well. It's an old, old way of doing it, but, it works, it is cheap, and the children don't mind drinking it. Try it!

the time-honored reason for a white bowel stream is a malfunctioning liver or biliary equipment. it would probably be spoke of that bile is what reasons our stools to be colored brown, this is the organic colour of stools. A white bowel stream might often point out blocked bile ducts on your liver. a trademark of blocked bile ducts different than for white bowel stream would be discomfort in the better genuine area of your abdomen.
