Being betrayed can hurt in a very big way. Not knowing the situation, I would say you need to take some time to regroup. I'm not saying, have a pity party, but when you are knocked down that hard, sometimes it takes awhile to get back up. Then, do something for yourself, because this betrayal doesn't define who you are. Take care of you, so you can feel good about yourself, and move on. Finding a good friend that makes you laugh is always good medicine.

Well, it's good that you want to get over the hurt, but you still need time to heal. It's ok to still be upset and hurt that someone betrayed you. But your next step is to get some closure. That maybe confronting that person and asking for an apology that you deserve or realizing that you don't need that person in your life anymore. You need to take a step back from the situation and just accept what happened and learn from it. One of the ways I've done was to right a letter. I put in all my thoughts and frustrations, I even cried a little while writing it. Then when I was done, I went to the beach, and burned the letter and let the ashes fly away. It symbolized that it was over and that I was over it. I hope this helps.

Take care.

Rather than sucking it up, use that betrayal as a learning experience. Analyze your betrayer and learn how to avoid such people.

Look at the type of person that you are attracted to. There is a good chance that your "type" is the problem. I dated a lot of controling women before I met my wife. When I met her I thought that she was not my type. I decided to try it anyway and we have been happily married for four years now.

My step-mother was emotionally abusive to me and I looked for controling women as potential wives. None of them made me happy. My wife on the other hand is not controling at all. She is very gentle and kind.

Take care,
Troy

well, its really hard to.... nothing more than time will heal you, you will be pissed for awhile, but sooo many people have this happen to them.. try abd find someone else and dont get so attached in case you get hurt again... look at yourself and realize, what goes around comes around and they will have their peice too. just know that you did all you could and you are a good person and if this was over a guy, well he didnt deserve you anyways... not all men are like this also.

Stop thinking about it. It may sound impossible but others were able to do it and eventually move on and yeah.. You can also do the same. :)
