I just got a new job in finance, I have to learn how to read credit reports to decide on loans. I understand some things on a credit report, but I would like to find a website that breaks them down for you.....any ideas?

Here's a couple websites that explain the scoring system and what goes into the reports to get the score.

i always stay up to date with my credit reports. the primary credit bureau used is equifax. the website to be best used for it is: www.equifax.com plus the website has lots of information about credit and credit reports.

is the ONLY website mandated by the Federal Government and is free.

www.freecreditreport.com- get all 3 major agencies and it wont affect your score- each site does a good job explaining each section.
