Flirt-to court triflingly or act amorously without serious intentions; play at love; coquet.

So pretty much acting playful around the person. Most of the time people flirt no matter what. It is just something that we do. Some do it a heck of a lot better then others. If someone is flirting with you and you like them flirt a little yourself. Heck me and a guy did that last year and it took us a year before one of us made a move to ask the other one out. Hopefully I helped you out to know what the term means.

^_^

Well, you know how when you watch nature documentaries and it's mating season and the male and female do nonsensical dances and strut around in a kind of courtship ritual? Flirting is the human courtship ritual; albeit with slightly less dancing (unless it's in a disco) and more talking. And being sprayed with urine is not a sign of rejection, it's a sign you're in the wrong bar.....

Flirting can be different things.
Eye contact, gazing with love at the person, teasing, smiling, conversation, etc.

flirting - it is a way you express yourself to the opposite sex, you dont have to love them, you show feelings for them in a sexy way and talk to them in a different way you would to other people.
