Farmer Gray has been having a problem with crows eating his corn. Nothing has worked to get rid of the crows. He tried scare crows, traps etc. Finally he sees three crows perched on the roof of the barn, and decides to shoot them. He is an excellent shot. The problem is he only has one bullet. The crows are spaced so that there is no way he can hit more than one with the bullet. He takes aim and fires.

How many crows are left on the roof?

maybe one,if the crow he shot at died on the roof. maybe none if he blew that crow completely off the roof. The other two flew away from the sound of the gun blast.

However, there may be all three left since you say that there was nothing that scares them.

Actually he goes to the side and put the bullet thru all three, the roll off the roof, so there are no live crows left on the roof.

not a single crow is left at the roof because1 died with the bullet and the other 2 flew away.

I'm guessing the gunshot will startle the crows to leave the roof. They may go straight for the corn field but they won't be on the roof.

None, the crows fly away at the sound of the shot, and if he hit one it would fall off.

2 are left because one fell off and the other two are fearless so they stayed on top of the barn
