Not sure about lime juice, but if you coat your hair in lemon juice and sit in the sun it will highlight your hair. but it could damage your hair. I recommend getting it done proffessionally at the salon. good luck!

No only lemon juice the acid in lemon juice swells the cuticle of the hair, and helps to disperse small amounts of the pigment in the hair. To be truly effective, you have to use the lemon juice in combination to exposure to sunlight. It is natural, but remember that lemon juice can damage the hair if overused.

they say lemon and lime are natural highlights but they dont work very well. you have to sit in the sun which is also a natural form of lightening. i have tried it but it honestly doesnt make alot of difference, your best bit is ask at a salon for some very subtle natural highlights!

you can lighten your hair with Lemon juice for sure, I usually lighten my daughters hair in the summer time using this method, she has naturally golden blonde hair and the lemon juice lightens it's just enough and it's not harsh on her
