I agree with the first poster. Afterall, you are never old to be stopped from doing anything. You can have anything you wish.

I have heard of people well in their 90's tying the knot, and it has brought nothing but a smile to my face.

You are never to old to get married if you love someone that much to be willing to say I Do. I think older people would probably just have a simple wedding with no fancy dresses, but they would probably have flowers. Depending on the couple the wedding would probably be old fashion.

If you want the white dress, it symbolizes joy, not youth or innocence, one ought to be happy about one's wedding, so go for it! Age is not a restriction for that. The veil can symbolize innocence, but if you like the accent to the bride's beauty, do not let conceptions like that hamper you, do what makes you happy.

Flowers are the same, decoration for beauty, to show joy, and most people love flowers, always appropriate.

Friends to support you in your celebration of your dedication to each other are always appropriate, best men/ushers, maid/matron of honor/bridesmaids, or just witnesses in a civil ceremony, you're perfectly entitled to such things.

If any of these things make you happy, why let others' conceptions of what is appropriate or inappropriate dictate whether you do them or not? Make your wedding celebration the happiest it can be, it's a great joy to marry, whatever your age.

Of course!!! Why not? Older people need love just like younger people. Some people are 60 before they get married. If you desire to have a wedding, then by all means you should do it. You would probably deserve it more after waiting so long anyways.

There shouldnt be an age cap on something like that. If you are 95 years old, meet someone that you want to marry and you want the full nine yards for a wedding, go right ahead. I'll be in your front row saying "Go Granny, do ya thang"!

LOL

Hi there age is just a number....it doesn't matter what that number is so long as you are living your life to the fullest.I 've seen people in their 70's and 80's complain that they never did this or that and how much they missed out on.And there are some in their early 20's that have been there and done that.So if some old lady or elderly gent wants to shy dive as they say their vows ...more power to them

Hugh Hefner is 70 and marrying a 27 year old and will probably have a huge wedding with all the frills. But that is his world. What works in yours?

Love has no age limit. Neither should marriage. And if the couple wants to do a whole traditional wedding then nothing should stop them. They're celebrating their love for each other and want to share it with their family and friends. There's nothing bad about that.

24 is the old age in India. We marry by 21. For you I think if you love someone truly then just marry when you feel is the right time
