I have not experienced Asiatravel.com, I checked the prices and compared. Asiarooms.com is a bit less and the booking maybe takes 24 hours to confirm for me. It will probably be less for you since if you book during the day time you may get a confirmation faster. The ONLY complaint I have heard about Asiarooms.com is that they are a little slow in issuing credits for cancellations.

Whereas Asiatravel.com is supposed to give you instant confirmation. Up to you, I have used Asiarooms.com a couple times and have not had a problem with the reservations at the hotels.

Check the prices with sidestep.com or kayak.com they are multiple site searches. And if you find a hotel chain you like, maybe check the corporate site too.

Good luck and have a good trip.

YMCA is pretty expensive in HK. Try the YWCA, it's cheaper. For hotels, on the HK side, Bishop Lei International House, Ramada Hotel, Empire Hotel, Cosmopolitan & Cosmo Hotel are pretty safe ones.

I wouldn't begin to trust it. Go there and find a hotel in person..
