My hair is very dark, but after a year's worth of highlights i made it mostly blonde. Now i am sick of going to the salon constantly to touch up my roots.....can i do them myself at home?

Yes, if you just want to touch up your roots between salon visits they have many good brands. I like L'oreal or Clairol. They have different ones that are color specific - just for blondes etc. Try to find closest to your color. Stay away from any of the "Ash" blond colors they tend to come out with a slight greenish tint - it's not bad, but you can definitly tell the difference.

I have bought the coloring at Target that is just for root touch up. It works well and you don't get it on your tips of the hair so less damage.

use the lower priced throughout hair dye closest to the color you attempt to compare and purely mix a small batch/equivalent parts in a separate field (i take advantage of about a million/3 cream conditioner and a million/3 developer)as quickly because it truly is mixed it purely lasts for about an hour yet in case you keep it separate you could in many situations get about 3 to 4 contact up out of one field

If you use the right products, yes! Use either Loreal Excellence or Garnier Nutrisse. You will achieve the color on the box for sure-

Nooooooooo you will ruin your hair and spend more money to get it done right. get a brown color that way you'll let your wallet and your hair rest and restore anyway the brunettes are now on fashion.
