First, I am sorry for you loss. It is never easy once you know you are expecting.

As for morning sickness, I've always heard it in kinda the reverse - if you have morning sickness you are less likely to miscarry, not that not having morning sickness will make you more likely to miscarry.

Even with that, I had NO morning sickness with my first (baby boy), and then I miscarried on my second pregnancy. It was early, around 9 weeks. I then went on to have 2 other healthy pregnancies and babies. With #2 I had 7 months of morning sickness (knew it was going to be a girl by that!), and with #3 I had NO morning sickness the first trimester (the critical time), and had mild morning sickness the second trimester. Go figure!

There are so many numbers out there it's scary. All I can say is that each pregnancy and baby is different and it is an amazing process all the way around. Good luck.

I don't know if it is factually true but after having 3 full term pregnancies and 4 miscarriages I can tell you what I found from my experience.

My three full term pregnancies caused me NO morning sickness. Lost of other troubles but no nausea, vomiting or the such. With the miscarriages I felt like crap all the time. Is there a correlation?? I have no idea, just passing on my experiences.

With my first i had no morning sickness or no sickness period. My son came out perfect. I know alot of people who never had morning sickness and there baby also came out perfect. Infact everyone i know that had a miscarage had lots of morning sickness. So i dont believe that is true. Now i am on my second and i still have no morning sickness and i am 7 months prego and no miscarrage. well congradulations!

They do studies about these things all the time. I have also read just recently that morning sickness may act to prevent a miscarriage. However I have two healthy girls and did not have any morning sickness or nausea with either of my pregnancies. Sorry for your misfortune. Here is an article that you may want to read. http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/254.html

No....I have two kids 3 and 4. With my 4 year old I was sick for the first three months. with my second baby I never got sick. Some of those magazines just write anything on there. Half of that stuff is made up just so people can buy them. Consult your doctor

I have never heard of that but it would interesting to find out if that is true. I know I am 5 weeks pregnant and I have not had any morning sickness so far. When my mother was pregnant with me she did not have morning sickness but she did have it with her second child.

It is not true at all. I have had 2 healthy kids and no miscarriages and never had morning sickness with either one of my pregnancies.

no sweety its not true to the best of my knowledge....I know too many moms who didnt experience morning sickness, and gave birth nas normal.....its just a coincidence.Having a miscarriage is not the moms fault...at all!! yes if you take drugs like crack etc... you can bring a miscarriage on but usually its just b/c the baby didnt attach properly or something else went wrong....its not something you did...just in case you thought it was
