I'm having similar but far less nasty issues. My 360 exists but can't be seen from my profile here. I'm playing tag with their support & then tell me there are issues between the two; it boils down mostly to how 360 talks to the rest of yahoo (and hence, why it's a Beta).
That is why I don't have my usual avatar; I guess it could have been far nastier for me. :(

I had to reincarnate myself twice already, not from problems on this section because I didn't know it existed until a few months ago but I used to be a very naughty girl in P&S I don't know why they even bother deleting us, we always come back :)
