I am looking at buying one and my sister n law has one that is 2-3 years old and works good. I just want to know if that is a good price or is that too much?

It seems to be a lot of money for a used fridge, especially in that it is a family member giving you this "deal." Most of the used fridges run about $200-350 in my area. The biggest downside is that there is no warranty with this fridge. You can go to someplace like best buy or hh gregg and find a decent mid-range side by side for the same price or maybe $100 more. For that, you get a warranty and the piece of mind that comes with it.

It doesn't appear to sound like your sis-in-law is doing you any favors.

Since it is in the family, I don't foresee a problem. Does it have ice and water in the door??

compare it to what a new one would cost, same options, color etc. if you can buy it for a $100 more new, not a good deal but if it is $300 more, good deal.
