You should start seeing a difference in about 5 or 6 weeks, but it will take time to see the results of the work your putting in. Keep it up and be patient.

Don't pay too much attention to the scale. You may be gaining some lean muscle mass from the running - which is great since muscle takes up less space than fat. Try to pay more attention to how your clothes are fitting - if they are getting looser or not. I believe that it takes about 3 weeks to really feel a difference - you'll feel more energized, rested and lifted. In about 6 weeks you will totally start to see major results (as long as you stick with what you are doing). Sounds like you are doing an awesome job and after 12 weeks you should bump up your intensity a little by adding more distance and incorporate some light weight training to accelerate your results.

I notice it every time I work out,,,,,, muscle does have memory
if you used to workout but quit,,,,,thats is my deal.
my muscles just pop,,,,,as soon as I get back on the band wagon.
You are trying very hard,,,, 6 weeks is enough time to get your body tight,,,,,but if your looking for a six pack, that is way to much to ask for in 6 weeks. You're doing everything right,,,,keep it up.If you lower you fat percentage in your body your muscles will show up better also.
