A night terror.
The subject wakes abruptly from the fourth stage of sleep, with waking usually accompanied by gasping, moaning, or screaming.

i was trying to sleep the other night and a spider comes crawling from under my blanket as i was laying under it. it sucks and freaked me out since i was lying there for 30 minutes and it finally come out. i killed it with a bottle and flushed it down the toilet
