Wow. This is a good one for me. My boys were 18 & 19. I came home and noticed part of the Scotch was gone. I had told them that there was to be NO drinking in my house. Well, when I asked them, they just said, "Yea, we drank it." I tried talking to them and they started yelling at me cause I was "making a big deal out of it." I calmly said, "Get your clothes and get out." They didn't believe me at first, but then I took their clothes (still calmly) threw them in the yard and said, "Get out. This is my house and I will not be treated like this or talked to like this." They left, but a few days later came back and we had a LONG talk about what is and isn't acceptable in my house and if they didn't like it, they would have to move out. They've done great ever since!

If they did something bad like commit a crime than I'd kick the kid out of the house but no I wouldn't just throw my kids out.

That depends on the behavior and whether she had a place to go. If she was 18 and being disrespectful, you bet I'd kick her out. But if she was 14, then no, of course not.

If my children were exhibiting behavior that warranted them getting kicked out of the house, I would wonder where I went wrong. I would try and help them as much as possible because love doesn't quit.

your child is YOUR child no matter what they do. they`re never going to learn from their actions unless you help them. they need a place that they can call home...the more love you show them, the more they will grow. maybe they just need space. let your child know that you are always going to be there for them...by kicking them out, they will learn that if their parents give up on them that easily, than everyone else will, too...so why try? they are their environment, so teach them what their environment is...i know that has happened to me. i know in the past couple of years i`ve messed up with my parents...but they`ve shown me unendless love and concern, i came around. and i am blessing my parents with a grandson. i love my parents and without them, i don`t know where i would be. your children need you.

Although my kids are still young I don't think I could ever be one of those mothers who would kick my kids out regardless. It's in the way I was raised. We take care of our own and when the going gets tough we try harder.

You can never say never....My mom was a saint....really, but my brother pushed her so hard, she finally made him leave...smoking pot, swearing badly at her....it just isn't worth it at that point, they can easily make you not like them....I was very lucky with my own, but I remember the beast boy...he came around and now it fantastic!!!

My child? no...my grown son or daughter? absolutely if they did not follow house rules...work....curfew.... etc.... there comes an age when 'children' need to be on their own and responsible members of society.
