Resting pH level is typically somewhere between 7.35 and 7.45. Below this is called acidemia, and usually due to low respiration (allowing CO2 to accumulate), while above that range is alkalosis, and usually due to the opposite (hyperventilation).

The plasma pH is usually around 7.4 and it does not deviate much from that.
