if she truly likes you, she will leave him. If not...this may seem harsh... but you may just be a backup,,,

The fact that she has a boyfriend shouldn't even enter the equation. You, and her, will have a lot of "boy" or "girl" friends over the course of your lives. But if you want her to be YOUR girlfriend, start competing for her (knowing women fairly well, that's probably what she wants). Tell her that you really enjoy being with her and that you would like to start doing things together, such as a movie or a hamburger or whatever. What's the worst that can happen? She doesn't like you as much as you like her? So, find someone else. Life's full of competition and disappointment. Might as well get started.

Just because she flirts with you and gets protective when other girls try to talk to you does NOT mean she likes you. She could be a drama-queen or an attention-whore -- you know, the type of girl who always has to be in the spotlight all by herself -- so before you go down that road you need to be SURE she really likes you. If you find out that she's the type that insists on being the center of attention you need to bail on her. If she likes you, go ahead and ask her out. Remember, all's fair in love and war...

Don't allow this girl to make you act crazily. You don't want to be the reason if she breaks up with that guy. This will hurt the guy and make you look like a relationship breaker.
If she really wants you, she will do something about it (talk to her b/f about their relationship and maybe end it up). She is already cheating on her b/f. is this the type of girl you want to have a relationship with?

okay lets get the facts straight. she has a bf. but she's flirting with you. if she really likes you, she will break it off with her bf to be with you. for now, stay friends with her. don't respond to her flirting. you're giving her the chance to cheat. go back to flirting with her when she breaks up. it's not fair for her bf.
