An average phone starts at 1 and ends at 9 but the keyboard is the other way around. Why are they different?!

I think it's because the numbers on the phone are also associated with letters in the alphabet. For example, 2 is assoicated with ABC, 3 with DEF, etc.

because you type on a phone with your thumb and on a keyboard with your fingers

Its supposed to be the quickest way

keyboard has touch typing but a phone does not..
