after the man pulls out the chair for the lady, does the lady pulls the chair in herself as she sits on it,
OR does she stand between the table and the chair and waits for him to push the chair in a little for her before sitting on it?

Ideally, one smooth motion. He pushes while she begins lowering herself.

I'm not sure, but either way would seem ok to me. I like it, however, when he slightly pushes the chair in a little AS I sit. Not that I need the help, but it sure is nice to have a gentleman who knows how to treat a woman.

Typically the gentleman will keep his hand on the back of her chair, pushing it in as she sits. In these liberated times, however, a lady must be prepared to scoot herself in, if perhaps the gentleman is rusty in the method of the old ways.

he pretends to pull it just far enough, when she goes to sit he pulls it out even farther and she falls on the floor and they have a good laugh and she goes to the e.r. and they share painkillers and look back on that chair thing and they laugh
