I have been an emt-a for 6 years now and am having a hard time getting in my local medic classes because i am gay, i am not the only gau person who has had problems. so if you know of any gay friendly medic classes please tell me.

I know several gay and lesbian medics, and they have not had any issues with getting into a wide variety of paramedic courses. Are you sure it's because you are gay? There has to be an actual reason they are denying you entry, because it's illegal to deny you on the basis of your sexual orientation. What's the reason they denied your application? Medic school can be very competitive to get into, and sometimes a qualified applicant will be denied simply because there are more highly qualified applicants.
If you can't get into this medic school, you might try others. There's no shortage of decent medic courses out there. If you have proof that they are denying your application based on your sexual orientation, a lawsuit might not be a bad idea.

You shouldn't be having a problem with getting into classes because you're gay. I'm sure that's not a question on the application. If you're hitting on people that your are working with or going to class with, that might be a conflict of interest.

You are in the us and being denied entrance on the bases that you are gay? My friend go to the phone book open it up and call the first lawyer you see! They can not refuse you based on your sexual persuasion ... why did it even come up?
