You have to delete the word SHY out of your vocabulary. Take a woman by the hair and say "you are mine!" kinda like what they used to do in caveman days.

Male have been the dominant gender since early man..it wasn't so long ago that men were considered the head of the household ..expected to support the family, protect the family, and have the last word..so it is no wonder that men are expected to ask girls out....it is changing (maybe not fast enough) and some girls are comfortable with it if you give them some clues you are interested ...others may be shy like you and last still others may not be comfortable asking you out......so .......at this time you are going to have to get courage to ask a girl out..if she says no........ what is the worst that can happen ? .......think about it.........and then muster some courage ,if you can't do it verbally in person ,use the telephone or an email at worst..good luck

The unfortunate truth is that you can't tell if you'll get rejected or not. I was really shy too, but I found that you'll never know one way or the other if you don't ask. The little bite of a rejection goes away quickly. What really sucks is spending the day wondering "what if I asked her out?" Hope this helps :)

yes, it's traditional that a guy ask a girl out. but nowadays, it is just as normal for a girl to ask a guy out as well. there are alot of shy guys like you out there. i'm sorry, but there is no way you can know your crush's answer before you ask them out. rejection is feared by everyone, but it's a risk you have to take. it's either you gather up your courage to ask someone out, or you keep your feelings safely shut and never have anything happen. it's a fact: most girls will wait forever for a guy to ask them out. unless she's the brave type of girl who have no trouble asking a guy out. remember: nothing's going to start if you don't do something! what's the most you have to lose? a little embarrassment and a red face. it's not as bad as you think. you never know until you try=)

Because that's the traditional approach. Girls can ask a guy out if they feel strongly enough about it. I am just a believer in making a man decide to make a move to get what he wants. Shows character and strength. Something today's men are sorely lacking in. They have become lazy with text messaging and email etc....

It's what men should do, its not the woman's place. If you are shy because of rejection, get over it the only thing that can happen is she may say no. And you won't die from it, and she may say yes. At your age there are to many fish in the sea to worry one may say no.

don't worry about being shy!! honestly! The truth is they are no better (or worse) than you are! If you get ANY good feelings about talking to that girl, pursue it!! The rest will take care of itself because there are many people out there looking for that special someone just like you.

bcuz guys are supposed to. most girlz (there are some that will ask guys) never know for sure if the guy likes them. even if they know they like them they don't know if he wants to go out with them or not and yeah they are afraid of rejection to some point to.

there never is any way to be sure unless you are getting a vibe from her, even then you cant read her mind. so be hopeful and go out on a limb.If shes into you you'll know it at first sight. A good way to do this is when your totally up to it!!!!!!!

It's the culture. Men tend to be the pursuers. You can't know if you will get rejected, anymore than women can know if they will either.
