It does not seem like it at all yet some people claim to be Christian and simultaneously fascist. Jesus taught peace, love and the brotherhood of humanity. Fascists bring war , oppression, racism and conflict everywhere they go. Would spreading fascism under the name of Jesus actually be anti-christian?

yes it is, like terrorists attack under the name of the Quran and Islam, I know and understand what you mean, my mother was a christian and my grandma was Jew who became a Muslim, but my mom for 28 years she was a christian and died christian, we never felt what is happening today , we all respected each other, and loved each other, we celebrated all feasts, my mother loved Islamic religion and she brought us up as Muslims, I learned a lot about Jesus from her and from the Quran we had no contradictions, my father were a Muslim there was no problem, I started to feel that some Christians are changing against Islam and they will not leave a chance without calling us names, and i know for sure that this is not the teaching of Jesus , as I know that Islam didn't teach us to kill innocent people, and the situation is accelerating. i wish we could learn from each other on yahoo answers and respect each other and try to solve our differences and point of views, because I know christian religion is a peaceful religion and what people are doing here is against it, even if some people don,t like any other religions ,I don't think its a good idea to show it here on yahoo answers , people should meet each other here and discuss things in a decent way. .peace to all and god bless

Whoever claims to be a "Christian fascist" can't be a Christian in any sense of the word. Hitler was the epitome of hatred and ruled by worldly means. Jesus said time and again that His kingdom was not of this world, and He came to give people eternal life. One day Jesus will come for His true followers and Hitler will burn in the lake of fire forever.

I apologize for the posting earlier. I was very confused by the question. The title immediately made me think that you were indeed saying that Jesus and Hitler were similar. Even though I read the explanation underneath, I was still confused. Are there any sources available? If you have the website this was found on, could you please provide a link for it?

To answer your question, I definitely would consider it anti-Christian. Your answer explains it all. Fascism and Humility do not go hand in hand. Actually, it's very ironic, and they can't co-exist together.

David, I again apologize for my earlier post. I had no clue you were Christian.

Jesus taught other things besides what you mention. Perhaps a less selective reading of the scriptures would be a good idea.

This looks like a variation on the "no true Scotsman" fallacy. No true Christian would do what Hitler did, right? Well, Hitler was a Christian, and so were the people who carried out his orders.

Not, no similarity does not exist enters the most famous German dictator and the biggest friend of the humanity. Hitler as well as Bonaparte came to bring problems to the humanity, she proclaimed the war to that did not participate of its knowledge, while Jesus proclaimed and still he proclaims the love, the peace and the compassion stops with the next one!

Obs.: It pardons me for any grammatical error

Both Lord Jesus and Hitler are sons of God, both had a mission to teach humanity. Lord Jesus came to teach us the loving easy way to approach the Supreme. Hitler came to teach what the real nature of this material world is and that we better off accept the Supreme and work our way out of here. This material world is a hellish place where suffering of all kinds is available. Beginning with birth, disease, old age, death, constant anxiety and fear.

I would not want to list very many similarities with Jesus and Hitler.

Jesus warned that there are going to be wars among us. He also said that many people are going to do a lot of bad things in the name of God. He was right.
