Clyde (usually the more dominant) got out side. This morning when it was realized he was under our house and came right in when called. Well, Charlie is going flippin' balistic and we don't understand why or what to do to stop this. Please help, websites would be helpful?

It is probably his smell. If they are house cats and he comes in with all kinds of strange odors he will be confused. Animals use scent to identify themselves. Go o Petsmart and get some anti-odor spray....like babyfresh scent.....and spray both of them. Think of it as a "re-set" for them :-)

Charlie is ticked because Clyde got out and he didnt. He can smell the outdoors on him. And probably other cats as well. My cats always did this after one got out or went to the vet. Just hang in there and Charlie will be fine after awhile.

First let me say i have 11 house cat's,that go in and out all day to do there little run. There all fix'ed and stay around my house. So let me say one thing's cat's don't like to be in door's all the time no more then you or me.So if they come in when call'ed and don't roam to far what's your problem? It's normal for them to get out and sniff and what ever else they do.I would'nt worry about it just let them out and let them injoy life they can't do any harm.Oh and i have 6 cat's outside you can't get them in the house, even in freezing weather.Injoy your cat's and let them injoy life too.Have a good day.

could he have been busy with another cat? and the other can sense that he has, and is jealous? giving him a bath can help.
or it could be that the other noticed that he was gone all night and is reacting to that.
Good Luck

CATS ARE ANIMALS-AND THEY LIKE TO BE OUTSIDE. CHARLIE WANTED TO GO ALSO, BUT DIDN'T KNOW OR WAS TO SCARED TO GO.
