Not really... just brush and groom regularly... those products are mostly a farse.... dogs will shed and its just a matter of good grooming to keep it under control...also dont have it shaved... thats their natural way of insulating, it keeps them cool and it keeps them warm....just brush brush brush...make sure its a brush with long metal so that you can get that undercoat out... a Good metal comb works well wih mine......smile good luck

Absolutely not!! The ONLY thing that works is brushing daily and a good diet. Investing in a good vacuum can keep hair out of the home and do not wear a lot of black as that color seems to be a magnet for hair.

Nothing works for the ammount of hair a shepherd produces. NOTHING. I had to change my carpets because of it. Either you leanr to live with it or you don't.

Please enlightenment (I know this is not answering your question) - what is shed x? My boyfriend's dog sheds horribly is this something that could potentially help?
