The doctor generally has you come back in after a few days and measures the test area on your arm. I don't think there's a way to tell on your own.

You are supposed to go to your doctor so he can check. I used to work in a pediatric office, so I do know this...
They gave you the injection in your forearm correct? If it gets inflamed and red and you see circles or bumps on your arm, then it is positive. If your arm is normal, then it is negative. I mean you might have slightly red skin, but no bumps if its negative, but that could just be because you have sensitivity to shots. Most people come out negative, so don't worry too much!

I just had a TB test done for school. I went on on Tuesday and got the injection and then back on Thursday to get the site "read". I had no lump so mine was obvious that it was negative.

depends on the size of the bump you get after a couple days, i think +1 cm means positive, less than half a cm is negative and .5-1 cm is inconclusive (i cant remember exactly, my numbers might be wrong ask your nurse when you go in to get it read to get a reliable answer. dont diagnose yourself). its called the Mantoux test, do a little research on it

They should have told you when they did it. You look at the site 2-3 days after the injection, if there's redness, bumps or swelling it's probably PROBABLY positive. You need to return to the dr to have them look at it.
