Why? Why teach a young child which, is 100%, will believe every single word you say regardless of how intelligent it is. And teaching this child something your not even 100% sure of? Why?
Just requesting responses, on why people even think of doing this.

"Is 100%" was a typo. I meant that I am 100% sure that your child will believe anything you tell him/her

Exactly, the nature of children. That's why we need to be careful what we say and what we do. I'm a christian and I wonder what is bad about teaching my child to be loving and kind and giving? Yes, I will teach them my beliefs, because I have felt God's hand on my life many times and I will share that with them. When they are accountable for their own self, they can choose to stay with it or walk away. Doing homeschooling, I have also introduced them to many other religions, told them what they were about.I teach them about other cultures and lifestyles as well. I've witnessed others who greet their children with obscenities and yell at them. Will they not copy that? I've been to the store and watch a mom cuss out her little girl, then slap her on the head. Is that an example worth copying?

Every parent "indoctinates" their child, whether it is deliberate, by accident, or by neglient. A parent who does not take the time to teach their child values, morals, and the ethic and other skills needed for life would be guilty of child abuse.

I don't. I don't lie to my kids or try to convince them that anything that is not proven is "truth". Ever. I taught them how to love and care about other people, how to obey the law, how to cross the street, how to do everything, but I didn't need religion to do it. Their upbringing has been 100% honest, and they have turned out just fine.

Why do you train your pet not to pee on the carpet?
Because you know what's best, don't cha? Regardless of what I say (I'm still a kid), parents will always know best. No loving parent would lie to their child.

The WORSE thing a parent can teach their children is ANYTHING to do with religion!
"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ
Create a private, personal, direct, divine relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truely Free!
Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

So what are you teaching your kids? Do you just let them blindly walk about? Every parent will teach their kids some type of belief system. What's yours?

The same reason that I feed them three square meals and make sure that they are dressed appropriately for the weather. I know better - they are kids. That's a parent's job.

You could define your understanding of indoctrination.
My children are my responsibility and I will discharge that responsibility according to my conscience. If that happens to affront you then tough!
