generally you simply press F8 when the computer is booting up and it will allow you to chose.
some machines use different variants. laptops especially.
its usually F8 or similiar on pcs. and laptops can be anything form F8 to FN+ALT+F8.....check the manuafacters website if your using one!

Restart you Pc ,, let tt start the first black screen
and hit F8 key.. this will take you to the options menu.
Once there , you will see the option Safe Mode

usually you hold f8 key while booting. If not, you can hold down ctrl key while booting and press f8 key until you see a menu.
