My sky box is not working - the dish is receiving no signal - been trying to get it working for days but i need a proper british sky tv repair man - does any one know of anyone who can do this in the paderborn / detmold area of Germany please

Many factors to evaluate - Sky won't fix it,as that is not meant for use exterior the united kingdom. you want a competent high quality cable(ideally double-screened) of non-end length - no connectors or kinks. Connecting to the dish and container needs to be carried out appropriate. you may attempt your container on somebody else's equipment, or borrow a container to objective your cable/dish/LNB. yet, if I have been you, i might call in a close-by installer; he can do an analogous activity as a Sky installer.

if you cant find anyone you can purchase new dishes and lnbs quite reasonably on ebay. mine stopped working and I fitted a new lnb myself. It wasnt difficult at all.
