Friend, I am one of those that mainly answer question, I have been on this site 8 months & ask about 9 questions, now you ask us, Why don't we ask questions. Friend, I say this as humbly as I can, I am still learning as anyone else, But Friend I am not a novice in the Bible. Novice means a young Christian. I have been serving God for 37 yrs. & in those 37 years, I feel like God has at least given me some insight into his word. I will never answer a question, if I did not have the correct answer. There has been some questions, I have not answered, Why, Because I don't know the answer. I always wait not only on this site, but also in my everyday life, on the correct answer before I will give an answer to a question. No, I don't know it all, But I do believe God have given me enough common sense to know a true answer. So I will always keep my mouth shut until I know what the true answer is, I will never give a person a 2nd thought on a subject, because, What I tell them, I will be required at the end to be Judged by what I told them. Do you want me to ask a question? OK, What was the original sin that caused the downfall in the Garden. Don't say it was eating an apple, Because God told Adam & Eve. EVERY TREE that grows out of the ground is good for FOOD. You can find that several places in Gen. Chapter 1 & 2 But there was 2 trees that did NOT grow out of the ground, & both of them was in the midst of the garden, One was the Tree of Life & the other was the tree of knowledge of good & evil. When Adam & Eve sinned God put Cheribins to guard the garden So that mankind can not be partaker of the tree of life again only by Redemption. You go to Revelation & read where to him that overcometh, God will grant us the tree of Life. Now I ask the question, what was the originl sin. No, I will not give you the answer, yes I do have the answer, & everything can be backed up by the bible. Now study on that for awhile. I asked a question, Yes, I can give you the answer also. But I want you to dig into the Bible as I have done in the last 37 yrs.

I guess I'm one of those people. The reason I don't ask questions is simply because it's rare that I can come up with a question to ask.
I don't think I know everything. When I have a question to ask, I'll ask it. But in all truth, I'm half afraid to ask questions. Seems like every time I do, one of two things happens (sometimes both):
1. People are really insulting, and don't bother to answer the question.
2. I get a violation notice, and my question is deleted.
So then I lose fifteen points. No thanks. I've asked over 100 questions, and about half have been reported. Maybe a little less than half.

As the first person said 'Who cares' I agree.
Also, it doesn't mean that they don't ask questions they know everything. I don't ask question, I've only asked 6 so far, and answer over 800. It's just I don't really have anything to ask, or just can't be bothered. That goes the same for other people. They may not have anything particular in mind, that they really want to know or something.

There have been times that I've wanted to ask questions...however, I checked the forums first to see if possibly anyone has asked the same question. And 9 times out of 10, yes, the question HAS been asked....usually about 4 times within the same hour!
I answer the questions because I am generally bored at work.

There are all types of personalities. Some people just ask a lot of questions. Some ask too many! *LOL* Some people just don't ask a lot of questions.
Some people like to be helpful by trying to assist others in answering their questions. The motivation of their answer is something only they can tell you. For the most part, the answers I have read here are those trying to help others. Answers which aren't helpful or are childish and condemning are quite obvious.
Personally, I answer a lot of questions to try to help those who are asking. If there is some experience in my life which I can use to bless others, then I should share it. My motivation is not selfish or I'd be asking where we exchange our points for money and gifts.
Believe me, if I have a question, I will ask it.

I don't ask because:
1)I have been here enough times to know how people respond
2)if I know how people respond then I either knew the ansewr all along or am just going to get insulted by people who think they are better then me.
3)I don't want to lose points since I do like to give insight to people who do need it, altough I become fustrated when answering the same questions again and again and seeing many terrible answers to certain questions.
4)I don't know all the ansewers, that why I don't ansewr every question
5)if I am curious about something I have the rest of the net to lok at without as many annoying comments that are often biased and stereotypical.
I hope you understand me better now, I am not a know it all, I am just using commen logic.

I've never asked a question since I joined "Answers". Without wanting to sound as though I know it all, because I certainly don't think that I do, if I have a question I tend to look for my answers through a search engine, encyclopedia, thesaurus (how come there isn't another word for that) and dictionary...also my husband who is the font of all knowledge and a very clever person to boot because he married me...although you may hear him say on occasion that I do know everything because I am a WOMAN!

I never ask question but always answer them!!, and nope, i do not know everything. Life would be pretty boring if i did. I don't have any questions to ask just yet, but just enjoy trying to help people, or adding humour to questions. I am a counsellor too, so it's natural for me to be like this. I enjoy it. But now you have got me thinking.......lol!

No. The odds of getting a stalker or an account removed go up drastically when you ask. I only ask when I am legitimately curious, or doing some kind of experiment. Usually we are talking on IM and I bet that at least 2-3 morons will answer a certain way.

answering questions can also bring enlightenment to a person
to ask questions that fit is for some people like a jigsaw they often can't be bothered to try to find the correct pieces so they just skirt around the edges till they get to a point then they avoid filing in the gaps
