The Greek has a note for the grave it truly is hades the Hebrew is sheol, the verse you cite besides the undeniable fact that announces the kardia tees gees, lit heart of the earth, so no help from the Greek there. Kardia as in cardiology ability heart and gees as in Geology ability earth, the sure article is contained in the genitive case so it truly is translated of the, sorry you gained't get any help from the language. The gospel money owed inspite of the truth that say that Jesus became crucified, and the Romans were professionals on crucifixion and they knew even as someone became lifeless, and if he wasn't lifeless even as they got here to break the legs of the different prisoners he easily could were even as the spear pierced his aspect (as evidenced by technique of the separation of blood and plasma which in reality takes position after death). obviously the Koran says that yet another became crucified in Jesus' position yet you only could decide which account you want to have self belief.

No the sins were not "placed on him" as if he became a sinner, he was merely the lamb to atone for sins. You see according to tradition, you have to sacrifice a PURE and PRECIOUS animal, your most valuable of the flock, and that would show that your sacrifice was sincere. It did not make the animal a wretched sinner, it just symbolically caused the blood of the pure animal to wash your own clean.
But to answer your question, Jesus went to Abraham's side I think. That is where the righteous went when they died, and upon his resurrection those people were taken to heaven and now it is empty there. Oh, Abraham's side was in a plain across an impassible chasm near hell, basically they were side by side but there was no crossing point.

No one really knows the answer to that. Jesus was placed in the tomb on Friday before sundown, that is day one. He was in the tomb all day Saturday, that is day two. Saturday night after sundown is day three. He rose some time during that night. No one knows exactly when or what He did while in the tomb. There is a reference to Him "preaching to spirits in prison" in 1 Peter. You interpret-
18 For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, 19 through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison 20 who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built.

Yes. See 1 Peter 3:18-20 and 1 Peter 4:6.
The keys to hell and death are Revelation 1:18.

Jesus went to hell for the purpose retrieving the captives otr the ones who came before us hoping in the resurrection as was written in scripture.
All persons who died were in a type of holding spiritual holding cell.
None had entered heaven prior to this. Jesus was the first fruit or the first to enter into the kingdom of GOD

Well, this is a really tough question. It says in one of the gospels that jesus said he'd be in paradise with the theif. In another part 1 Peter 3:18 says the He preached to the spirits in prison. This says he didn't go to Hell. http://www.apologeticspress.org/articles/1789
http://www.layhands.com/DidJesusGoToHell.htm
Here is a website that says He went. http://www.answering-christianity.com/bassam_zawadi/jesus_went_to_hell.htm
There is no 100% answer for this question because of words being changed to English.

Kenny,
First it was not really three days if you think about it. He was crucified at 3:00 PM and taken down by 6:00PM. Usually it took people a lot longer to die than three hours, as people could survive as long as a month if given food or water. Even without food or water, it used to take people at least a week to die, which is what made crucifixion such a terrible punishment.
In my personal view, Jesus fainted and blacked out due to exhaustion as he was lashed and had lost some blood, whereas the other two who were crucified with him were killed by the soldiers. He was taken down and put in a cave of one of his rich disciples, which was large in size. Aparently Jesus slept probably for almost twenty four hours or even thirty six hours in the cool cave, which revived him.
On Sunday morning he got out of the cave after pushing the stone off the face of the cave from inside. He went looking and found the gardeners clothes, as he took off the burial cloth. This explains everything without making anything super-natural. It explains his wounds, explains him being hungry and thirsty when he found the disciples and also explains how he spooked his disciples, who literally believed he came back from the dead, giving them the confidence in him and belief that he was very special indeed and gave them the strength to bring the Word to the World and the courage to die for it. Note that most of them had heard about his crucifixion and most were not present when he was taken down when it was already late in the afternoon and dusk was setting in. It is possible that the signs of life were overlooked as he was laid to rest in a hurry as the Jews had to join the evening prayer.
Until the disciples saw Jesus come back "from dead", they did not believe in him. If not, they would have never abandoned him in the first place, if they really believed he was the son of God. Later as the news of his coming back from the dead, legends grew around him that he was the son of God. The guilt of the apostles for abandoning him and being so weak in their faith put additional energy into them to make sure his words were made universal.
Jesus himself had to go back into hiding to avoid being crucified one more time, after he recuperated with the disciples for a few days and put the finishing touches to his teachings.
I hope this makes sense.

Paradise. Not heaven, not hell.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise
Yup. On the cross, Jesus said he was going to be in paradise the next day. A waiting room. No direct flight for the son of god, he gets a three day layover.
