There's no such thing as "good Christian rock/metal".

Go to any music site and check under Christian rock. Also try looking for a band called The Choir. I didn't realize they were a Chrisitan rock band until recently. Another band to try would be Internal Hate. They aren't a Chrisitan band but have quite a few songs about the importance of God and have some anti-drug songs.

Since Metal and Christians have different philosophies on life, you aren't really going to find a great band. Most of the musicians are not Christians so you have a very limited pool of people. And you don't get the monetary support from Christians since most of them don't like it. It is kinda hard to work your way up if you aren't going to play the bars and that leaves you with a lack of equipment on top of the limited talent pool.

If you want metal bands, you glotta go with Demon Hunter, in fact I am listening to them right now. Their newest album the Trypitch is awesome. I don't know them very well but a band called..... uhmm.... Stavesacre sounds kind of like old metal I think. Project 86 and Disciple. And if you want more hard rock (as opposed to metal) go with Thousand Foot Krutch, Skillet, and Kutless. If you like many secular bands though but want to get into Christian music, check out a band named Apologetix, they have like 13 albums and parody secular songs and make them Christian, but I've played their music around people who liked the originals and it took them several minutes to realize it was a parody, not the actual song. And just to give a shout out to my favorite band, an Indie band named Ever Stays Red; but get their oldest album "I'll Tell the World" because their newest one isn't as good. But for you I'd definitely recommend Demon Hunter and Stavesacre.

Check out the Free Stuff page @ http://web.express56.com/~bromar/
You can hear some samples of Isaiah. They are a hot Christian rock band and if you want their CD you can order it. Also check out ApologetiX and on the music.download.com link check out the group Prophecy under the Christian metal link. You can also find some other good groups under the Christian Rock section from that link.
