I am quite shy also.
So after my bf told me "I love you" many times, one day I realize I really love him, and I'd like he knows it. So there was one weekend, as he arranged this surprise little trip for us. I decided it was the time to say it.
Then Sat. night, when we had dinner in a fancy restaurant, when he whispered "I want you" across the table, I answered "I love you" without sound. He understood my lip language, shocked and happy.:)

anytime will be the right time to tell ur boyfriend you love him as long as u mean it and it comes from your heart.

Guys are somtimes scared by the "L" word.
If you tell him to soon, he might get scared and
avoid you.
But if you tell him to late; he might go and love someone else.
When you think the time is right.
Maybe right now he is asking the same QUESTION.
Don't be scared; Everthing happens for a reason.

After he tells you. As sad as it is men like to have a certain amount of control and when you get to topics of love and marriage it is always best to allow them to express their emotions to you so you don't scare away an emotional vulnerable male when you fell you are truly in love. I would honestly wait!

Trust me, you should tell her how you feel during a date during the most romantic time of the year. But, whenever you get the chance, go for it!

Whenever you feel it. If it scares him, be patient with him. Some men run when they hear the L word, but it doesn't mean they don't love you.

I don't know how long u know your bf, i know my bf for along while and we have been saying i love u to each other and we are comfortable with it. so the word i love u meant something, and please say it when the time is right ,when u feel comfortable saying it.Believe me when u say when u said i love u to him, see his reaction he will be surprise and happy
PS: my bf is proposed to me yesterday and i say yes
