Maybe you call him saying "sorry I don't feel well today", if he cares about you, he will ask you if everything is ok, then you can say "nothing is wrong, every month I would be like this for a few days, don't worry".

Just tell him. Besides, maybe you should keep up the 4 month recaord and not sleep with this guy unless you are married to him. Virginity is awesome. It is the most precious treasure any girl can have.
Besides. You don't want him to get sifilis. thats what happens if you can't wait till after the period.

It's really cool, that you did not rush into sleeping with this guy, and he obviously repects you enough, to wait untill you are ready and willing.
Just be honest with him, tell him that unfortunately a little women's problem has occured, and that you are not comfortable having sex with him tonight.
He will appreciate your honesty and you will feel better. Dont let anybody make you do something, that you are un-comfortable with.

tell him that "Aunt Flow" is in town...
guys would much rather know right up front that nothing is going to happen...
they understand...most of 'em...
it won't kill either of you to wait. or, there is one other option that some folks really enjoy, but it's kind of messy and that is have sex while you are on your period.
some girls know that they are about to start or barely start and have sex anyway and then tell the guy that the sex must have made them start bleeding....that's not right though.

Tell him- "Listen, I know you wanted tonite to be a special nite but unfortunately- I got my period. Would you like to postpone this for another nite?" That way- if he doesnt mind (and neither one of your are religious) than you will know. If he doesnt know that women mensturate by now- than perhaps he is not the guy for you.
